Abstract: The application of non-thermal atmospheric pressure plasma in medicine, especially in dermatology, is a very promising approach to improve the treatment of chronic wounds. This application has to be effective as well as safe. That is why it is important to understand the effects of plasma on living cells and on the genetic information.
