Sensitivity in flow injection analysis

An overview of the different ways of altering sensitivity in flow injection analysis (FIA) is presented. Both types of alterations, decreasing or increasing sensitivity, can be achieved by real or pseudodilution or (pre)concentration steps. The great versatility of FIA is once more reflected in the large number of modes in which this analytical parameter can be altered.
