Abstract
- The differential diagnosis of osteolytic lesions is very difficult because it is to be distinguish among tumoral masses, infective lesions and metabolic diseases that might have a similar imaging. To allow a correct therapy is often necessary to perform biopsy, histopathology and infectious test. We report an unusual case of non-specific osteomyelitis where all clinical and radiological aspects suggested a diagnosis of osteosarcoma.
