Abstract
- While evidence has shown that public health engagement of faith leaders can improve vaccine confidence and uptake among ethno-racial communities in the global and Canadian context, we will support this knowledge by filling in the gaps of evaluation approaches used to assess these community-centered partnerships. This scoping review will provide a typology of intervention practices which were often used to improve vaccine confidence among faith leaders/organizations, and vaccination program implementers. The study will also contextualize implementation best practices on faith-based partnerships for various ethno-racial communities so that public health and community-based organizations can learn which approaches are more effective and equitable.
