Study on the Synthesis of Some New Biflavonoids. VIII. A New Synthesis of C3-Linked Biflavones, Bithioflavones and Bithiochromones

Reactions of the 3—iodo derivatives of flavones, thioflavones and thiochromones with finely divided copper at 200–210°C gave the title compounds respectively. Thus a new way to these compounds was provided.
