Abstract
- It is possible for a single leader to make a difference to institute a cultural environment in a confined university set-up. This qualitative phenomenological study explored ten university faculty leaders’ perceptions of culturally responsive leadership. The results revealed that an unresponsive and challenging environment for the implementation of a culturally responsive leadership in higher education context has been created and higher education is not ready for the implementation of a culturally responsive leadership. The implementation for university faculty and leaders was discussed.
