Abstract
- Physeal-sparing anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction with the use of iliotibial band autograft in skeletally immature patients is associated with excellent functional outcome scores in a population with high activity level. Furthermore, the risk of growth disturbance is minimal, which is of paramount importance in the skeletally immature patient. This chapter focuses on the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative complications associated with this technique.
