Abstract

Faber-Ziman type partial structure factors in liquid Na-Pb alloys have been derived by using the so-called concentration independent method from the observed total structure factors. A ternary hard-sphere mixture model composed of atoms Na and Pb and Na4Pb molecule is applied to this system. It is shown that the estimated partial structure factors under the assumption of the mixture of hard spheres are in good agreement with the observed ones.
