Abstract: The ortho-H2→para-H2 conversion in a series of H2@C60 derivatives covalently linked to a nitroxide radical has been investigated. The resulting conversion rates are in good agreement with the Wigner’s theory, modified for intramolecular interaction of H2 with the paramagnet.
