Abstract
- A series of 1-aryl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-β-carbolines were synthesized, as “truncated” analogs of the novel agent, azatoxin, and assayed in vitro for their ability to induce proteinassociated DNA strand breaks in the presence of DNA and human DNA topoisomerase II.
