Abstract

In this paper, we address the position accuracy required in the User Segment. The goal is to find the required minimum distance from the provider receiver to the correction receiver. Several correction receivers, located at different distances, have been used to investigate the accuracy improvements provided to a chosen receiver, which played the role of the user. The applied method reveals valuable findings about the importance of the distance between a reference station and the user. The obtained results can be used to determine the necessary accuracy requirements for different GNSS applications.
