Wide range of chemical formulations has proven to improve the oral health. Chlrohexidine is gold standard, due to its advantages. However the side effects of like dysgeusia,discolouration of tooth or restoration , hypogeusia and,sensation increased odontolithiasis can limit its use and patient acceptance.
