Optimizing the desktop processing of the terrestrial laser scanning data in assessing the stress-strain state of tanks

The paper deals with optimizing the desktop processing of the tanks’ terrestrial laser scanning data in assessing their stressstrain state (SSS). The basic concepts to optimize the desktop processing are established and analyzed, thus providing the means to reduce the spent resources and time of PC work without losses to the final result of the tanks’ SSS assessment.
