Abstract

The present paper has considered a task to develop a portable device equipped with the vibro-tactile feedback to support the home physical rehabilitation. The purpose of the paper is to develop a portable device using the vibro-tactile feedback for real-time correction of the physical exercise execution correctness. Such implementation of a portable device allows providing correct adherence to protocols for rehabilitation exercise execution preliminary prescribed by a doctor in order to increase objectivity and reliability of the remote control. Combination of previously implemented algorithms for calculation of exercise execution correctness metrics has been suggested to be used for control of the tactile feedback.
