Abstract

27th European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition; 3929-3933<br />One improved analysis methodology, which integrates performance ratio (PR) along with categorized power loss factors, for examining photovoltaic (PV) system performance has been presented. One of Tokyo Electron Limited (TEL) outdoor test facilities, which is located in Southern Taiwan, has been utilized to examine its outdoor performance with the presented methodology in a systematic and fast manner. One customized scripts software has been developed for automatically processing the one year real-time data analysis in presented methodology. The result of performance analysis along with power factors has successfully segregated each loss factor impact on PV system power loss and is capable for technology benchmark and array-to-array performance comparison.
