Abstract
- A method is described for the synthesis, reactivity and 99mTc labelling of 2-alkoxyisobutylisonitrile. The Isobutylene was used as the starting material for the synthesis of 2-alkoxyisobutylisonitrile. The haloakoxylation of isobutylene in an alcoholic medium gives 2-alkoxyisobutylhalide which is then converted to 2-alkoxyisobutylamine. The reaction of 2-alkoxyisobutylamine with chloroform produces 2-alkoxyisobutylisonitrile under basic conditions. The reaction between 2-alkoxyisobutylisonitrile and tetrakis (acetonitrile) copper(I) tetrafluoroborate yields tetrakis (2-alkoxyisobutylisonitrile) copper(I) tetrafluoroborate in mild conditions. The 99mTc labelling is based on the ligand exchange reaction, the labelling efficiency is more than 95%.
