Abstract
- In the present work, we present a method of obtaining sodium niobate nanowires, in less time, using the microwave-assisted hydrothermal method followed by a calcination step. The photocatalytic activity of the samples was investigated through the photodegradation of Rhodamine B. The Perovskite obtained has an orthorhombic structure, space group Pbma and it was demonstrated that the heat treatment applied increased the crystallinity and band gap of the samples, reflecting in a better photocatalytic performance, resulting in high degradation rate of RhB, reaching a percentage of degradation ~ 99.21%.
