ChemInform Abstract: Nickel(II) Complex Containing N-(4,5-Dihydrooxazol-2-yl)benzamide Ligands: Highly Efficient Catalyst for Heck Coupling Reactions

Heck reaction catalyzed by Ni(II) containing N-(4,5-dihydrooxazol-2-yl) benzamide has been developed. The coupling of alkenes with aryl iodide or aryl bromide in the presence of potassium carbonate in DMF provides the corresponding products with moderate to good yields.
