Abstract
- The article deals with the effectiveness analysis of two non-identical unit system model with the priority unit and inspection facility available in the system. Both the units are active at the initial stage. Unit one is taken as priority and unit two is taken as non-priority. Unit one after the repair is considered as a degraded unit. An inspection is performed to check the feasibility of the unit, if the unit does not work properly it is replaced by a new one while as a non-priority unit after repair becomes as good as new. The system is in downstate only in case both the unit fails or are under repair. The failure of Non priority unit may be of casual nature which needs no replacement and system start functioning normally after repair.
