Fire intumescent compositions based on the intercalated graphite

A possibility of creation of the swelling type fire-retardant compositions of paints and varnishes based on intercalated graphite dispersed in the polymer matrix in the amount of 5.0–15.0 mass percent was investigated and proved. The expediency of use of the rough aqueous dispersions of polymers obtained with the use of protective colloids as a binder was shown.
