CT Imaging and Differential Diagnosis of Acute Pyelonephritis

This pictorial-type chapter reviews with extensive imaging examples of the CT imaging appearances of bacterial acute pyelonephritis including typical and unusual renal changes, useful and nonspecific accessory signs, development of intrarenal abscesses and long-term sequelae. Emphasis is placed on appropriate acquisition technique and study review.
