3D Sonar Imaging in Real-time Using Inverse Beamforming (IBF)

SubSea International, Inc.’s (SubSea) three dimensional SONARGRAPHICS from robotically operated platforms have been an unqualified success in diver field operations all over the world and such services are currently in great demand based on the successful results. An example of SubSea’s 3D SONARGRAPHICS sonar performance in dislodging a stuck dredge head in a reservoir in the andes in Ecuador was presented at the 23rd International Symposium on Acoustic Imaging to illustrate the power of 3D sonar graphics.
