Abstract
- A shock-like state occurred early during the performance of a standard glucose tolerance test in a patient with hypopituitarism. The reaction is interpreted as a dumping syndrome resulting from fluid transudation into the jejunum in a patient who was already hypotensive and hypovolemic.
