High-Q Fano resonance induced by Rayleigh anomaly in terahertz metamaterials

Abstract

High-Q Fano resonance is excited from the hybridization of eigenmode and Rayleigh anomaly through introducing the tiny displacements in the designed terahertz metamaterial. The strength of Fano resonance can be controlled via varying the incident angle of terahertz waves. These results provide new insights into the design of terahertz devices.
