Abstract

Availability of Energy resources is very important for economic growth of a country. Conventional energy resources are exhaustible and will deplete in near future, so it is need of hour to find new sources of energy. To meet current energy demand renewable resources especially Solar Photovoltaic (SPV) energy is being in much focus. If a PV system generates output that is more than the load requirement. The produced excessive energy will cause reverse current flowing towards the generator causing damage. For grid tied PV systems multiple MPPT inverter can be used to avoid this reverse feed current. Multiple MPPT control algorithm works by controlling the output of system by adjusting Maximum Power Point using feedback from generator. A grid-tied PV system connected with synchronous generator is designed in MATLAB Simulink toll to investigate the performance of proposed MMPT Control Algorithm for controlling Reverse Feed Current (RFC).
