4.1: A 2.6-in. DTV TFT-LCD with Area-Reduced Integrated 8-bit Digital Data Drivers Using 400-Mobility CGS Technology

A 2.6-in. M-LCD DTV display with 1920 × 1080 pixels has been developed using 400-mobility Continuous-Grain-Silicon CGS technology. An 8-bit monolithic digital data driver with a new D/A converter achieves 256 gray-scale levels. High-mobility and low-threshold voltage TFTs support 80-MHz data rates at 5 V.
