Abstract

During micro-fluid dispensing process, pressurized air drives fluid materials (such as adhesive, sealant) through a circular tube with micro inner diameter onto substrates. This process is affected by some coupled factors and extremely difficult to develop an accurate physical model. Contrarily, an applied model may be more useful and effective. In this paper, by analysis the dispensing process, an applied decoupling linear model of micro-fluid dispensing process was developed step by step, through adding the variables one by one to a nominal model, a completed dispensing model was obtained. Experiments on a typical commercial dispensing system were carried out to test the model, the result shown the model developed in this paper working effectively.
