Abstract
- An on-chip Substrate Integrated Waveguide (SIW) antenna operating in Half (HF) mode and One and a Half (OHF) mode is presented. The antenna is implemented in compliance with design rule of Commercial 65 nm CMOS technology. The proposed antenna shows increased bandwidth (compared to resonant antennas) of 20 GHz (0.54 THz – 0.56 THZ). Moreover, antenna shows a measured directivity of 9.4 dBi, leading to a gain of 2.8 dBi, when calculated with simulated efficiency.
