Safety and protection of plasma donors: A scoping review

The current scoping review was performed as part of the project 'Strengthening voluntary non-remunerated plasma collection capacity in Europe' (SUPPLY), led by the European Blood Alliance (EBA). One of the work packages of the SUPPLY project includes the development of evidence-based guidelines on plasma donor protection. Within this work package, the objective of this scoping review is to provide an overview of the available evidence and evidence gaps concerning adverse events and health effects in plasmapheresis donors.
