Abstract
- The stresses appearing in two Fe-based amorphous alloys with different phosphorus contents owing to surface crystallization during annealing have been studied experimentally for the first time. The stress-induced anisotropy was measured and calculated using the experimental values. These data coincide well for the alloy with a lower phosphorus concentration. The deviation for the other alloy was explained by structural transformations during annealing. The transformations and structure of the surface layers were investigated by the Mossbauer effect.
