Subperiosteal aneurysmal bone cyst of the metacarpal

Surface aneurysmal bone cysts are uncommon benign primary bone tumours. Involvement of the bones of the hand has only rarely been described. We report the clinical presentation, imaging and histological findings of a case of subperiosteal aneurysmal bone cyst of the index finger metacarpal.
