Economic evaluation of early amniotomy in low risk women

The effects of the routine use of early amniotomy to speed up labour have been analysed in a systematic review of randomized controlled trials. In this paper the authors used this data from the systematic review and a survey of costs to analyse the cost consequences of early amniotomy.
