Abstract
- The bio-impedance of the urinary bladder in both benign and malignant areas can be measured using the electrical impedance spectroscopy system. In this procedure, the bladder volume changes using some liquids which were expected to affect the resulting electrical impedance of the urinary bladder (in vivo and ex vivo). Different volumes of bladders were assessed to measure their impedance using different solutions. The solution volume was changed and repeated readings were made for different volumes. Despite the measured impedance demonstrated no significant relation between the impedance and the degree of the bladder existed, but there was a little dependence between them.
