Abstract

Institut fur Numerische Mathematik, TU Graz, Steyrergasse 30, 8010 Graz, AustriaWe consider the transformation of quasilinear partial differential equations to a coupled system of linear equations, but withnonlinear transmission conditions on the interfaces. After deriving a variational formulation, we will discuss Mortar finiteelement discretization strategies and present a numerical example.
