Adaptive mechanism of competitive management of financial security of an innovatively oriented enterprise in the context of digitalization

Relevance of the research topic. The study of the issue of the adaptive mechanism of competitive management of the financial security of an innovatively oriented enterprise in the context of digitalization is determined by the lack of a single approach to the implementation of the algorithm of this process. Formulation of the problem. The current stage of the development of the economy of Ukraine is characterized by the manifestation of a large number of factors that negatively affect the work of an innovatively oriented enterprise. The action of these factors causes inconsistency in the movement of material and financial flows, which leads to significant losses and, as a result, the loss of an innovatively oriented enterprise of financial security. In view of the above, the formation of a mechanism for effective management of the company’s financial security is an urgent direction for the sustainable functioning of Ukrainian innovation–oriented enterprises. This issue in the context of digitalization determines the relevance of the research topic. Setting the purpose and objectives of the study – to investigate the adaptive mechanism of competitive management of financial security of an innovatively oriented enterprise in the context of digitalization. Research method or methodology. The article uses the following methods: monographic, graphic, analysis and synthesis, systematization. Presentation of the main material (research results). With the aim of ensuring the financial security of an innovation–oriented enterprise, an adaptive mechanism for the formation of a competitive risk–oriented financial strategy is proposed, which is considered as a system of management decisions regarding the achievement of the set prospective goals of the formation and development of resources, that ensures the financial security of the enterprise with the help of balancing the dynamics of turnover, assets and the structure of financing sources according to the criterion of financial risks. Field of application of results. The results of the study can be used in the practical activities of innovative enterprises to strengthen the adaptive mechanism of competitive management of financial security. Conclusions on the article. The author’s approach consists in the choice of a financial strategy aimed at achieving and maintaining the financial and economic security of an innovatively oriented enterprise in the context of digitalization with the help of identifying the maximum level of increase in turnover, limited by the rate of profit growth in the given range of financial risks.
