Abstract
- Co0.5Zn0.5FeCrO4 is typical of concentrated magnetic oxides which show characteristics of the spin glass phenomena in macroscopic measurements. AC susceptibility shows a broad peak at 147 K, spread over the temperature range from 90 to 170 K. Using Mossbauer spectroscopy, we show that the peak in the AC susceptibility is due to gradual conversion of the magnetic lattice into superparamagnetic clusters as the temperature increases, and spin arrangement at 4.2 K is of Yafet Kittel type.
