An intelligent heating energy-saving system based on CAN-bus

Abstract
- Energy-saving and pollution reduction is of great social significance. In this system CAN-bus technology is used for its characteristics of flexibility, reliability, real-time, longer transmission distance than that of the 485 bus. Module K7110 is used to convert RS232 and CAN data connected to the CAN-bus. Thermocouple input module K8510 connected with a temperature sensor are used to collect temperature data. Relay output module K8518 and electric valve which is installed on every inlet pipe of radiator are used to control the heat flow according to the commands from the system. The software can accept user's setting for room mode according to the time it used. This system realizes intelligent control for a single room based on CAN-bus and gets the maximum energy-saving. It is proved that it can save heat more than 35% by comparing more similar rooms through two heating period. It has the promotion value in heating system of existing public building in North China.
