Working Paper: 2015 Canadian Election Platforms: Long-Form Census, Open Data, Open Government, Transparency and Evidence Based Policy and Science

The following Working Paper is a first pass examination of how open data, open government, transparency, evidence-based policy, the Long-Form Census and science as it pertains to data fared in the Canadian 2015 Election Platforms for the five political parties that have held seats: New Democratic Party (NDP), Liberal, Green, Conservative and the Bloc Quebecois. This Working Paper informed an Open Access Week seminar organized by the MacOdrum Library at Carleton University in Ottawa. A more detailed and in depth analysis will follow which will include an expanded section on science which will include health.
