This collection of papers could fulfil a need which has existed in the application of critical path analysis since the days when two parallel developments, CPA and PERT, surrounded what is theoretically a simple concept with mystique and confusion. The adverse criticisms which can be made of this book are mostly on its layout and not on the content which is basically sound and well worth saying.
