Improved water oxidation activity of a Sillén SrBi3O4Cl3 photocatalyst by flux method with an appropriate binary-component molten salt

A Sillén SrBi3O4Cl3 is synthesized in pure and high-crystallinity form via a flux method with an appropriate molten salt, which leads to a higher photocatalytic activity than that of SrBi3O4Cl3 prepared by a conventional solid-state reaction method.
