Abstract: We report femtosecond polycrystalline Cr2+:ZnS/ZnSe lasers at 80 MHz rep-rate, with pulse duration up to 44 fs, output power reaching 1.7 W and 0.25 W at 2.3 µm fundamental and second harmonic (SHG) wavelengths respectively.
