Does Iron-Transferrin Saturation Influence the Immunoturbidimetric Determination of Human Serum Transferrin?

Transferrin determination was performed in 100 native human sera by RID, laser nephelometry and kinetic turbidimetry; the serum iron-saturation ranged between 0.03 and 1.00. No statistical difference could be observed between 3 immunochemical methods.
