Investigating the complementarity of qualitative and quantitative approaches to textual data

This project aims to investigate how qualitative methodologies complement, differ, or detract from Natural Language Processing (NLP) topic modelling methods (specifically Latent Dirichlet Allocation – LDA) when used on a large textual data set derived from scientific journal articles on exploratory behaviour in children.
