Abstract
- A new way for prognosis of bladder cancer (BC) is to control the BC microenvironment by chemical groups. The self-assembled monolayer (SAM) surfaces with methyl (–CH3), hydroxyl (–OH) and carboxyl (–COOH) groups were prepared to control the UMUC-3 cells. The results indicated that all three kinds of chemical groups influenced the adhesion and the proliferation of UMUC-3 cells, and the apoptosis rate of UMUC-3 cells was the highest on the –CH3 surface, which inhibited the proliferation of UMUC-3 cells.
