Abstract
- Self-injection locking by delayed reflection becomes a popular method for improving frequency stability and enhance of the frequency tunability of a gyrotron oscillator. In this paper, we develop a theoretical model of a self-injection-locked gyrotron and analyze the influence of reflections on frequency tuning by magnetic field. The results of theoretical analysis are verified by numerical simulation of time-dependent fixed-field and self-consistent models of a gyrotron.
