Abstract
- In this paper, a robust model predictive control algorithm based on infinite norm optimization is applied to a nonlinear boiler-turbine unit. Simulation results show that the designed controller has good tracking, disturbance rejection and robustness against the variations of the operation points due to the plant nonlinearity. Compared with conventional model predictive controller, this control system functions better when the operating point varies.
