Abstract
- TO THE EDITOR: Barrett's esophagus is a well-known premalignant condition that could be associated with the development of dysplasia and adenocarcinoma. However, the risk of developing adenocarcinoma is variable according to the studied population. Then, the ablative treatment with argon plasma coagulator (APC) appears a valid alternative to avoid the progression from metaplasia to dysplasia and cancer.
