Antibiotic Stewardship in Pediatric Urology: Editorial Comment

Bacterial resistance to antibiotics has been very well known since the advent of antibiotics. Overuse, misuse or inappropriate use of antibiotics are the key factors in developing antibiotic resistance. Pediatric Urology as a speciality also suffers from antibiotic resistance. This chapter summarises the causes of antibiotic resistance in Pediatric Urology and the way forward to slow down this phenomenon.
