Magnetic anisotropy of Dy-sublattice in Gd1−Dy Co4B

Magnetic measurements have been performed at T = 5 K in a high magnetic field up to 150 kOe for powdered and field-oriented samples of Gd 1− x Dy x Co 4 B with 0 ≤ x ≤ 0.75. Magnetocrystalline anisotropy of the rare earth sublattice in the CeCo 4 B type structure is discussed on the basis of the experimental data.
