Abstract
- complaints were satisfactorily resolved (85.9%). Conclusion: Safety issues (pain/sedation, identification, and postprocedural education) were the most common reasons for complaint, followed by delays, uncoordinated care and concern with physician competence. Most complaints were successfully resolved with clarification, apology and manager notification. This analysis suggests that improved peri-procedural care coordination and patient education are important factors to address when dealing with patient dissatisfaction in IR.
